Sta-Set X

New England Rope's Sta-Set X is a patented polyester line used for halyards and guys where limited stretch is desired.  Sta-Set X has a braided polyester cover with a linear (not braided) polyester core.  By not braiding the inner core stretch from the lines construction is limited.  The first 6 times or so you use this line you will notice stretch but the line will seat it self and perform well.  Like most limited stretch lines Sta-Set X becomes firm with use.  Used on many cruising boats and club racers New England ropes Sta-Set X provides you with minimal stretch at an affordable price.
